Email Guidelines

All addresses will be firstname.lastname@scientistscliffs.org, with no exceptions, except for duplicates.

If someone requests an account other than above it will be deleted, posthaste, no warning.

The purpose of this account is to provide a personal, long-term e-mail address to Members and their households. The account is a privilege, not a right, and the communications committee reserves the right to revoke an account with finality. Decisions of the committee would have to be appealed to the board.

Any household member of an SC family may have his or her own address.

Each account will set up with their requested password, and they can change it at any time. If a user loses his/her password, it can be reset at the request of the member.

Behavior against norms will be a three-strike policy. First warning, second suspend, third revoke.
